What We Do
Talent Acquisition and Employment within NC State University Human Resources is comprised of a team of recruiters (Talent Acquisition Consultants), the Background Check Program, International Employment, and University Temporary Services (NC State and UNC-Chapel Hill offices). Collectively, we are responsible for ensuring that NC State is able to effectively recruit, hire, and employ an effective workforce to support the advancement of NC State University’s mission, vision, goals, and strategic initiatives.
We provide strategic human resources consultation and services in the following areas:
- Recruitment consultations, advisement, and assistance for SHRA, EHRA, and Faculty positions
- Advertisement strategies to attract diverse candidate pools
- Applicant screening, evaluation of assessment tools
- Interview prep, reference checking, and salary negotiations
- Training for hiring managers, search committees and campus HR partners
- Compliance with University, State, and Federal regulations
